Amongst the workforce, anxieties are understandably high around the impact of coronavirus on the workplace.
As the UK Government strives to re-open the business sector and boost the national economy, HR has been tasked with leading the initial period of transition back into physical working environments, with office spaces and certain retail outlets opening imminently.
Whilst this necessitates open discussion with workers around their physical and mental wellbeing, data released by The Health and Safety Executive has found that many employers are falling short.
The body, which provides guidance for employees and investigations into poor practice, confirmed that it is currently fielding complaints about over 480 firms for the period between March 16 and May 4, 2020.
