Headlines have been rife over the past week and months with news about frontline workers in vulnerable positions, unable to shield themselves from the threat of coronavirus.
The harrowing stories of those putting their lives on the line for the protection of others will undoubtedly resonate with all, yet also strike fear into the hearts of those for whom the concept of returning to work could pose a great risk.
However, the current Government guidelines clearly state that any professionals who are unable to carry out their duties without the assurance of protection from their leaders and HR practitioners should remain at home until this is possible.
