Recognised for creating the UK’s first cannabidiol (CBD) soft drink, Rebekah Hall, CEO and Founder of Botanic Lab, is aware of how a business can suffer a bad reputation due to the nature of its involvement in a specific industry.
For Botanic Labs, who is a manufacturer of vegan-friendly CBD drinks, Hall has had to tackle plenty of negative news around the usage of CBD, however, she believes a new era is starting to emerge where cannabis is now an accepted legal product.
Speaking to Executive Grapevine, she shared why business leaders shouldn’t be frightened of a challenge, particularly when it comes to launching a controversial product, and how best executives should combat any unfair press they may receive as a result. In addition, she highlighted the importance of being an ethical leader and how she plans on being sustainable.
