One-fifth of Brits fear losing license could cost them their job

For Brits, the car is the primary form of transport not just for social mobility, food shopping and long drives, but also for commuting to and from the workplace.

A Statista study conducted in February found that a massive 68% of the British population use their car to get to work, compared to just 11% of rail users, whilst under five per cent regularly use the bus network. It’s undeniable that whilst BillPlant.co.uk stated that just 13% of UK respondents polled are required to have a full driving licence to carry out their role and responsibilities, the car is an important facilitator for professionals.
