IWD | 'Everyone should own the conversation on diversity'

As we approach International Women’s Day (IWD), which takes place on March 8, a new report has uncovered how much today’s leaders are prioritising diversity in the workplace.

According to Accenture’s recent report Getting to Equal 2020: The Hidden Value of Culture Makers, less than one in five leaders said diversity is a top priority, a shocking statistic as we approach the international day in the calendar.

The report, which includes research across 28 countries, found that organisations are at an inflexion point. However, despite the low statistics, the researchers discovered that today’s UK workforce cares increasingly about workplace culture and believe it is critical to helping them thrive in the workplace, reported by 80% of women and 66% of men.
