In 2019, it was revealed that the average CEO of a FTSE 100 will take home the typical annual pay of a full-time worker by the fourth day of the New Year.

With this in mind, it may come as no surprise to hear that US media personality Kylie Jenner makes more money in one Instagram post than the average Brit will earn in 32 years.

A new study from job search engine Adzuna, reviewed the average earning potential for some of social media’s biggest stars and compared this against the average national salary (£30,420) to find out how long it would take UK workers to earn the same pay.

After analysing the data, Adzuna discovered that singer Ariana Grande earns £765,261 per post, which would take the average worker 25 years to pocket, while Juventus footballer Cristiano Ronaldo can make up to £749,126 per post, which would take a worker 24 years and seven months to make themselves.
