Bosses should keep communication lines open with their employees. This brings tangible benefits to a business such as motivated employees who are aligned with the organisation’s vision and this will positively impact the bottom line.

Despite the importance of open communication between those at the top and their direct reports, new research has highlighted a stark disconnect between employees and top bosses.

According to research from Unit4, more than a third (36%) of UK employees say that they have never had any contact from or with their CEO.
