Monaco, officially known as the Principality of Monaco, is an independent city-state, country and microstate situated on the French Riviera in Western Europe, according to factfile.org.
A place with historically strong links to the rich and famous and one which boasts the hosting ground of one of the most prestigious annual racing tournaments: The Monaco Grand Prix, Monaco is a dream destination for many.
As a relatively small country with just 40,000 people residing in Monaco – and 50,000 commuting from neighbouring France and Italy for work each day – the Principality still faces the same challenges as other larger countries in the world; attracting talent and business to the country.
At Gartner’s ReimagineHR event a few months back, the Government of the Principality of Monaco’s HR Director, Stéphan Bruno, told the audience about a new vision that the Government launched called ‘Extended Monaco’; an initiative sought to improve, modernise and digitise the Principality, as well as developing its economy through virtual activities.
