The workplace is full of challenges.
On some days, harnessing the attention and determination to action a burgeoning workload is enough to challenge the patience of just about any worker, whilst for others, dealing with a particularly motivated boss takes a lot of mental agility. However, one of the most taxing challenges for any professional is having to deal with co-workers who insist on bringing negativities and conflict into the workplace and rendering the culture toxic.
Whereas it takes all colleagues working collectively to perpetuate a positive and productive culture, unfortunately, the fate of such culture lies in the hands of any one worker – any of whom have the ability to sour it with gossip, work avoidance, conflict and disruption.
It can be anxiety-inducing to even consider going into an office in which you’re aware some form of dissonance is inevitable – and it’s even possible for such actions to convince others to leave altogether.
