Brits are sick and tired of their commutes. Trudging in file formation down the road to the station, laden with bags and files and heavy laptops, only to have to stand on a humid commuter train whilst the freedom of the rural world passes you by outside is enough to get anyone feeling blue.

Add in rail strikes, price hikes, cancelled trains, broken lines and the infuriating actions of your fellow commuters and it starts to snowball into seriously negative thoughts. Yet commuting via car isn’t much better. Whilst you may be able to at least sit-down, endless lines of traffic, diversions, road rage drivers and that needle slowly going down to indicate your dwindling petrol supply is just as frustrating.

And when you get to work, is it much better? Is your building located close to amenities? Is your company a fulfilling place to work? But what can you do about it? Well, the answer may seem surprising, but you should move to Slough.
