Whilst salary plays a pivotal role in employee satisfaction and simply offering different benefits can in no way compensate for a lack in deserved pay, it should come as no surprise that to workers, there are other factors that have the potential to massively affect their workplace wellness and work-life balance.

A new report published by CareerBuilder evidenced this by surveying workers and discovering that earning more money comes sixth on the list of essential factors when considering a new position.
