In 2019, there is increased focus on how people experience work – with some believing that a better experience for employees holds untold business benefits.
In fact, a recent survey of HR, by The Future of the Workplace and Beyond, found that 83% of HR leaders said "employee experience" is either important or very important to their organisation’s success.
As a result, they are investing more in training (56%), improving their work spaces (51%), and giving more rewards (47%).
One firm who appear to be taking this ethos to heart is River Island. The popular high street fashion outlet are, as described by Nebel Crowhurst, Head of People Experience at the brand, in the process of creating “an workplace environment where people love to be and want to be.”
