While many people perceive jobseeking to be a competitive affair, new research has shed some light on just how easy it can be to bag yourself an interview. And that’s even without having the desired skillset, work experience or qualifications to sell yourself as the dream candidate.
New research conducted by San Francisco-based recruitment firm, Talentworks, revealed that candidates only need 50% of the required skills to make them eligible for an interview.
The Daily Mail reports that more than 6,000 job applications were analysed across 118 different industries which showed that candidates harbouring 40% of the requested skillsets equated to having 90% of the requirements.
