For some flexible working as a concept might seem at odds with the recruitment sector’s traditional working cultures, but for early adopters within the industry the benefits of embracing a more flexible way of working are clear.

That's according to Sanj Mahal, Founder & CEO of AndCo, who spoke exclusively to Recruitment Grapevine about why the sector needs to embrace less rigid work structures.

"Flexible working can significantly improve the work-life balance of recruiters who frequently have to meet with prospective candidates outside of working hours and arrange meetings in discreet venues that suit busy applicants – ultimately cutting down on unnecessary travel and improving productivity," he explains.
