Ants live, and work, in groups for their own betterment. Research shows that they will carry out tasks in a group to increase their chances of successfully achieving set targets.

In an organisation of any size, the hackneyed cliché 'two heads are better than one’ often rings true. Encouraging collaboration and teamwork means that common goals are more likely to be achieved.

As ants, appear to relatively uniform in their physical and mental capabilities, Julia Rozovsky of Google’s People Operations, states a particularly telling maxim:  “Who is on a team matters less than how the team members interact, structure their work, and view their contributions."
