Watch – La La Land

Created by the Director of Whiplash, starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, the romantic musical La La Land is on everyone’s lips. The film has won seven prizes at the Golden Globes and gained 11 nominations for the British Academy Film Awards – an indicator of its success so far. The film, as described in Stone’s acceptance speech after winning the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy, is “a film for dreamers. I think that hope and creativity are two of the most important things in the world.”

At a time of uncertainty, having both optimism and a vision for the future is one way to be ready for what 2017 may bring.
