In fact, one in three Britons expect their employers to organise a Christmas party, according to research from DBI Furniture Solutions.

With the work Christmas party intrinsic with the period, managers failing to organise a bash will be deemed a ‘Scrooge’.

Lorraine Bow, Fun Facilitator at Musivate, commented on the repercussions of a Christmas without a party: “An office manager who doesn’t organise a party for their staff is seen as a miserly Scrooge. What’s more, they’ll miss out on a brilliant chance to bring people together, and a happy workforce is a productive workforce.”
