Five minutes with: Erica Coletta, Chief Human Resources Officer at pladis

Erica Coletta, Chief Human Resources Officer at pladis, a newly-formed global biscuits and confectionery company which brings together Godiva Chocolatier, United Biscuits, Ulker, and DeMet’s Candy Company, discusses her career so far and the challenges she expects to face. 

What HR lessons have you learnt from previous roles? 

Listen to those around you and be ready for change. I’ve worked at global companies across a variety of sectors, from FMCG to energy to banking, and in each role I’ve seen how important it is to listen to and engage with different voices within the workplace and also from across the global network. As a CHRO, I place great importance on a coherent and transparent information flow between different levels of employees and different geographies. Understanding diversity and different points of views enriches the way we as a global company operate in different regions.
