It's the first day of December, which means the Christmas countdown can officially begin.

And whilst we will be bombarded with the pressure to spend our money on menial items we probably don't need, we should also remember that Christmas is essentially a time for giving, enjoying the company of loved ones, and appreciating the gifts in life you cannot buy.
