1. Review your organisational structure

“It is much easier to foster internal talent mobility if there are a number of progressive routes for employees. A traditional upward trajectory tends to limit career progression options. Creating a variety of routes that reward leadership skills, subject matter expertise or interest in acquiring new skills or organisational knowledge is a key starting point for an internal talent mobility strategy.”
