But proving its return on investment (ROI) can be difficult.

“I’ve long held a theory that most people will be made redundant at least once in their careers” he philosophes. “I’ve no great evidence to support this, but it’s a theory that I occasionally float with my colleagues – however nervous it may make them feel!
