Right from the outset, with over ten million tuning in to watch the first episode of the Great British Bake Off, season seven has had viewers on edge; watching bakers fluster over crème patisserie, collapsing biscuit towers, and lacklustre mirror glazes.

Although the show is now over and the winner has been announced, there’s no doubt that it both entertains and inspires viewers to get into the kitchen.
