Britain's favourite workplace biscuit revealed

Tea, especially in England, is the bedrock of most breaks.

But this caffeine-filled cup of wonder does more than just perk you up – it increases productivity.

The benefits of small breaks throughout the day are well-documented: research by Tetley’s found that nearly half of UK workers are too busy to stop for a cup of tea, and one in four thought they were not allowed a break.

And this could be harming their productivity, as 44% of workers said they feel re-energised after a cuppa, and 33% feel more productive.
