5 reasons why CEOs should be involved in hiring

The art of recruitment is one which has to be honed over the years, though the help of experience and increasing knowledge.

And whilst many companies choose to outsource their hiring practices, one executive believes that CEOs have a right, and an obligation, to be a part of recruiting their staff.

Aytekin Tank, Founder and CEO of online form builder JotForm, explains in an interview with CIO.com why Chief Executives should be playing a more active role in recruitment. He commented that Google’s CEO and Co-Founder Larry Page has a right to veto all hires made by his team – and hypothesises why any other CEO would do it any differently.
