The Great British Bake Off: What we learnt about the importance of change management

Recently, it was announced that BBC favourite, The Great British Bake Off, was to be moved on to pastures new - i.e. the kooky realms of Channel 4.

And whilst many fans lamented the change, murmuring about excessive ad breaks and a supposed change of pace, the real shock came when it was revealed that the beloved presenters may not be making the move with the show.

Mary Berry, Paul Hollywood, Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins seem to have been surprised by the turn of events - with Perkins and Giedroyc deciding to quit the show after the end of the current series.

The pair released a statement saying: “We made no secret of our desire for the show to remain where it was... we're not going with the dough.”
