Deutsche Bank CEO's memo urges staff to 'be more daring'

The CEO of Deutche Bank has supposedly circulated an internal memo to staff urging them to “be more daring” and ignore the hierarchy of the firm.

According to Business Insider, John Cryan sent an email telling employees to stop “doubling up” on work and come up with more revolutionary ideas.

He wrote: “Too often I see in my own daily routine that too many different people are busy doing the same work as each other.

“Sometimes there are valid reasons for this. But often a particularly cautious approach or a hierarchical mind-set gets in our way instead of making us better and safer.”
