What issues are businesses facing right now in regards to the digital economy?

Many businesses are facing a skills gap between the few digitally-savvy employees with the skills and competence to succeed in an increasingly technology-driven society, and the majority who, despite perhaps having some basic digital skills, are progressing more slowly.
