Innovative Recruitment: Could you recruit the next PM?

It’s the vacant role that’s got all of Britain buzzing, and now any candidate keen to take a run at the country’s top job stands a chance.

A London-based career change start-up, Escape the City, is inviting those seeking a new challenge to apply for the recently vacated role of Country Happiness Officer - otherwise known as Prime Minister.

Duties will include caring about “the happiness of people above all else” and getting a handle “on this headless chicken coop we call the House of Commons.”

With an easy ability to communicate on all levels, the successful applicant will be no stranger to a hashtag; favourites should include #gettingshitdone and #transparency.
