CEOs react to Brexit

Following the shock referendum, the UK has voted to leave the EU. But what does this mean for British business?

Whilst it’s still too early to know the answer to that question, some CEOs have publically commented on what the Brexit means to them.

Uber CEO Travis Kalanick explained during a CNBC panel at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Tianjin that the Brexit held no threat to his company.

“It's not yet clear if fewer people are going to get around cities so maybe it [Brexit] doesn't have as much of an effect on city transportation….As long as there's still roads and people in London, there's still great opportunities for us.”
