How can you encourage staff to take annual leave?

Recent research from Avios showed that one in four UK workers will fail to take all their annual leave, with many feeling too guilty or stressed to take a break. And while a quarter of staff won’t take their full allowance, 60% of staff work while on holiday and a third fear their boss will call while they are away. But what effect can this holiday-shy attitude have on staff and business?
