Normally, when you go to any restaurant in the UK, the service is fairly consistent. The waiters and waitresses are polite and well-mannered and your food is delivered in a normal and timely fashion. Don’t get me wrong, we have all had experiences of both terrible and outstanding service, but on average, you probably don’t remember the person who served you once your food has been digested as they will have neither offended you nor impressed you.
