The Premier League is known globally as one of the best football leagues in the world, if not the best. But although the UK may be home to ‘the beautiful game’, a key to its success is the ability to attract top talent from all over the world. The standard wouldn’t be nearly as high as it is without players like the Argentine Sergio Agüero playing for teams like Manchester City.


The same can be said for the UK economy. “The UK and especially cities such as London, generally require very little ‘selling’ when it comes to attracting talent,” says Jose Segade, Global Mobility Manager for Prudential and one of the founders of the RES Forum – the world’s largest and most active independent community for global mobility professionals. “Families may be drawn by the UK’s education system, while Generation Y individuals may seek the modern vibrancy and ‘hip’ image that the UK portrays to the rest of the world.
