Most influential women of the decade announced

The most influential women of the decade have been announced by Grazia magazine.

Harry Potter star Emma Watson won most influential in the entertainment category after her work fighting for gender equality as UN Ambassador. Last year she helped launch the ‘HeForShe’ campaign, described as a “solidarity movement for gender equality that brings together one half of humanity in support of the other of humanity, for the entirety of humanity”.

Self-made millionaire and video blogger Zoe Sugg, aka ‘Zoella’, was named the most influential woman in technology. While, 17-year-old Malala Yousafzai, the youngest ever recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, was recognised for her influence in the politics category due to her campaigning for the rights of the education of girls in Pakistan.

Grazia readers also named Victoria Beckham as the most influential in fashion, Jessica Ennis Hill in sport and Lena Dunham in culture.
