There are a particular set of sensations associated with being behind the scenes at a hotel or restaurant; from seeing crates of crockery to the constant hunger-inducing smell of food. The same ingredients can also be found at The Jamie Oliver Group’s HQ in Nile Street - with a dollop of ‘media’ added to the mix - the offices are a wonderful blend of kitchen and creativity.
And if you are familiar with the brands within the Group you will understand why this is. Jamie’s Italian, Barbecoa, Fifteen, Union Jacks and Jamie’s Diner are all well-known restaurants owned by the celebrity chef but his company is much broader. Jamie has a cookery school, TV programmes, YouTube channels, books, a magazine and, at the heart of all of this, a charity that aims to inspire people to reconnect with food.
