When our teams ask about AI, they usually aren't looking for a technical breakdown or a product roadmap.

 They’re voicing something much more raw and personal: “Am I still going to be useful here in two years?” This is the reality of the moment.

Behind every pilot program and every new tool is a person wondering if they’re being prepared for the future or quietly phased out. As leaders, we have to recognise that AI adoption is a massive test of trust as much as a technical hurdle.

If your people don't trust you, they’ll comply with your new AI policies while keeping their best ideas to themselves. They’ll use the tools because they’re required to, but they won’t push the boundaries of what’s possible if they're constantly worried about their job security.
