Apple worker who took secret pictures of female colleague was unfairly sacked, tribunal rules

An Apple employee who took secret pictures of a female colleague before sending them to a co-worker has successfully claimed unfair dismissal.

Mr. C Sieberer was dismissed by the tech behemoth's British arm, Apple Retail UK, after sharing photos of a female colleague in an iMessage group and privately with a colleague, known only as Thomas in an employment tribunal held in London.

The situation escalated when Thomas commented on the photos with messages like “Look at bae there... so cute… working her ass off but still looking great,” and “That's my girl.” 

These texts were part of the evidence presented during the tribunal, leading to a disciplinary investigation by Apple.
