In the last few months, employers have witnessed challenges accessing and recruiting the right skills into the business. This notion is supported by Totaljobs’ Hiring Trends Index which found that 29% of UK businesses expected skills shortages to impact their success in the final quarter of 2021.

One firm that has experienced this challenge is the property development firm LandTech. Last year, the firm uncovered growth plans of up to 100 members across 2021 (including 30-60 software engineers). This is said to be a tough skills category to find.
