Manpower Group: Gender equality has to wait for next generation

Millennials don't believe gender equality in the workplace will happen in the next two decades, according to Right Management.

The management consultancy firm is a part of Manpower Group. It has released a report that suggests that equality in the workplace is on average 17 years away.

The report shows that millennial women are the most pessimistic as to the rate of change. They generally believe that it will take 22 years to achieve gender equality in the work force. Millennials referred to those up to the age of 34.

Interestingly, men from the Baby Boomer generation are the most optimistic when it comes to how fast the workplace will change. They believe men and women are going to be able to compete fair and square within the next 14 years.
