Office politics and heavy workloads are two common but “unacceptable” reasons as to why employees feel unhappy about going to their jobs in the morning.
That is according to Adecco’s latest research. The recruitment agency has surveyed 1,054 UK workers. 29% said that they spend their Sunday’s dreading going into work come Monday morning.
The results also revealed that 33% cited office politics as a major contributing factor to why they feel unhappy at work. 57% said that their workload made them unhappy.
56% said that they had a hard time switching off from work. 44% felt depressed, anxious or stressed.
