
An executive director at Goldman Sachs who claimed she was owed millions of pounds in unpaid bonuses and was discriminated against due to her pregnancy has settled out of court after less than two days.
Details of the settlement were not disclosed, but Richard Leiper, who represented Pereiro-Mendez, said “The parties have resolved the issues between them and they ask that the claim be dismissed upon withdrawal.”
This is not the first time claims of sexism have been levelled at the company, last year a former vice-president and a former associate accused the company of having a ‘boys club’ atmosphere.
