Tesco cuts 10,000 jobs

Thousands of Tesco employees could face job losses as chief executive Dave Lewis attempts to turnaround Britain’s biggest retailer.

The job losses have come as a response to falling sales and profits.

It is understood that 6,000 jobs will go from Tesco’s head offices and through the closure of 43 stores.
