New John Lewis advert highlights the importance of team inclusion

John Lewis has released this year’s Christmas advert and the moral of the story can be adopted within all organisations.

One of the most anticipated signs of Christmas, John Lewis’ advertising campaign, has launched with the title “The Bear & The Hare”. The story is about a bear that cannot celebrate Christmas with the rest of the woodland creatures because of his hibernation pattern. Nevertheless, his friend, the Hare finds a solution.

For HR this highlights the importance of including all team members – regardless of their situation. While employees aren’t likely to hibernate, they may be on maternity leave, work from home or be working in a different time zone.
