Treating your employees like family can boost your recruitment process.

That is the message from the Director of Human Resources, speaking at high-class conference venue Wyboston Lakes.

“We are like a family,” Heidi Pegrum says, before explaining that the key to Wyboston Lakes’ recruitment strategy is to care for their current employees.

“We are there for people,” Pegrum says. “From an HR perspective, it means that we are always available. People walk into our office all the time when they have issues and they are looking for help. I actually had someone who had trouble sleeping come see me. We discussed and genuinely tried to find a way to help him.”
