Employers should be using technology as a means to encourage employee engagement in their firms.
The statement comes from a panel of speakers who discussed the use and effect of HR technology in the workplace and both the positive and negative effects it may be having on employees at an event hosted by the global HR technology and outsourcing provider, ADP.
In the past, technology has often been criticised for putting workers under pressure as things such as office emails can be accessed out of work hours and can therefore interfere with an individuals work/life balance.
