1. Conduct a stress test
When it comes to stress, it is often the unknown which creates the most anxiety. The next time you feel stressed at work, ask yourself why. Acknowledging what’s causing stress can be half the battle – both in helping you to identify why you are feeling so stressed and also in helping you to implement proactive measures to prevent it in the future.
2. Take a breather
If you can feel stress about to surface, take a five-minute break. Whether it’s going to the kitchen for a cup of tea or stepping outside to get some fresh air, take a brief break.
