The impact is often greater if an employee speaks out on an issue that doesn’t directly affect them, for example: a male speaking out against sexist remarks; or a younger person challenging age bias.
Suggest to employees that they're best placed to intervene in difficult moments when they are less likely to be personally aggreived.
