Two hospital staff have been reprimanded after accessing Ed Sheeran’s personal details without authorisation.
One medical employee has been sacked and a member of admin staff has received a written warning. The incident occurred after the singer was admitted to Ipswich Hospital in October last year, when he broke his arm and wrist in a bicycle accident.
According to information obtained by the BBC using freedom of information laws, two staff members,
“accessed patient information without legitimate or clinical reason”.
