A Spanish PR company has come under fire for rejecting a woman for a job – because she isn’t a man.
Carla Forcada was told by Impulsa Comunicación that the firm “needed a man who could handle the pace of working with big companies".
The disgruntled candidate decided to share the discriminatory email on social media, tweeting a screenshot with the caption: "incredible that companies that practice gender-based discrimination in the workplace still exist".
In response, Coca Cola has said they will no longer work with the agency, and Carglass, another client, “apologised to Ms Forcada "and anyone else who has been offended by this message.”
