Employees would jump ship for better training

More than six in ten UK workers claim they would switch employers to secure more regular training opportunities.

This is according to new research by AVADO, who also found that the average UK professional has gone two years without any training. More than one in ten reported having no training in over four years.

With UK productivity at worrying levels, AVADO's researchers believe that the lack of training is holding back UK businesses from success, as two fifths of professionals claimed they are less productive in their job without regular training.

Furthermore, a quarter of workers worry that without training they’ll be passed over for promotions.
