Revealed: Top Employers to work for in the UK

Wetherspoons, Molson Coors, Canon and Starbucks are amongst firms celebrating their recognition as one of the UK’s top employers.

The Top Employers Institute, a global certifier recognising excellence in employee conditions, certified 85 employers this year – with 12 of them being newly certified and six of them having been named a Top Employer for over ten years.

Caroline Price, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Canon Europe, was pleased to be included on the list. “The certification is not only a symbol of our commitment to building a positive employee environment over the past 12 months, but also of our commitment to continually optimise tools and develop the overall employee experience to become an even better employer,” she said.

The top employers were found to be those who evaluated talent strategy in relation to business performance. They also provide a thorough onboarding programme when new employees start and continue to support them by helping employees monitor their own performance and manage their career development.
